BMC Biophysics is currently accepting manuscripts for the thematic series “Biophysics of Disease”.
The purpose of this thematic series is to bring together latest advances in Biophysics in this area, namely how it applies the power of physics, chemistry, and mathematics to understanding health, preventing disease and inventing cures.
In an exciting development for the journal, the editorial model for BMC Biophysics has changed in order to drive its growth and to better serve the scientific community. We talk to the recently appointed Editor-in-Chief, Professor Dimitrios Morikis.
BMC Biophysics is an open access journal publishing original peer-reviewed research articles in experimental and theoretical aspects of biological processes from the microscopic to macroscopic level, including thermodynamics, structural stability and dynamics, molecular biophysics, signalling, novel biophysical methods and computational biophysics.
